LA Bartenders Share Cocktails to Shake Up During Your Quarantine

It’s no secret that this COVID-19 quarantine situation can get a little dull at times, with each of us looking for something remotely interesting to keep ourselves busy—which is why local bartenders are coming to the rescue with quarantine-friendly cocktails to shake up at home. Each of these cocktails utilizes standard ingredients that many of us keep on hand at all times, nothing crazy you’ll need to run out for, which makes them perfect additions to an evening quarantined at home. After all, when is a better time to work on your mixology skills?

"All I have been drinking, cocktail wise, at home are martinis. As a bonus, you can even make a big batch of this and add the correct amount of water to dilute the volume of cocktail batch by 18% and throw it in a bottle in the fridge, so you don't even have to stir over ice when you want a martini! Cheers and stay healthy!" - Big Bar Beverage Manager Cari Hah

Pretty Dirty’s Whiskey Sour

Pretty Dirty / Eagle Rock

"We love making cocktails at home, but we have to consider what the average drinker has in their home bar – we’re lucky to be stoked up with the best spirits, bitters, vermouths, amari, sherry etc etc that we can find, but it isn’t all necessary. Here's a recipes from our Vol 2 menu that anyone can make at home." - Tom (Owner, Pretty Dirty) and Liam (Bar Director, Pretty Dirty)

Simple – The Dive Bar Whiskey Sour, a name we have given to a whiskey sour served with no egg-white and on the rocks.
